Evolution Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Education Associate to join our

dedicated team. We are a dynamic organization selling innovative Arthrex orthopedic

and sports medicine products. The Medical Education Associate is responsible for

learning how the Medical Education department functions and contributing to its

success as well as learning about the sales process and teaming with Evolution Surgical

employees to achieve maximum potential in the territories.


This position is geared for a growth-oriented individual with a winning attitude. Previous

sales experience in orthopedic/sports medicine is a plus, but not required. The Medical

Education Associate must have a desire to learn the vast products we sell, build

relationships, be coachable and eager to learn, have excellent interpersonal and

communication skills and be passionate about entering the highly competitive medical

device sales industry. Mentoring and support are provided from all members of our high

performing team.


Duties and Responsibilities for the Medical Education Associate:
• Attend and support labs including set-up and clean-up,
• Participate in labs outside of regular business hours, as required,
• Attend cases in different territories as appropriate,
• Effectively communicate with management and Evolution Surgical employees,
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized office environment,
• Support communication efforts with the community and clients,
• Develop extensive knowledge in product features/benefits, surgical techniques
and other critical business applications,
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds,
• Vision – if corrective lenses are required per DMV, they must be worn as
required when operating company equipment and while working,
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes,
• Maintain credentialing requirements for ongoing access to all accounts.

Job requirements

Requirements for the Medical Education Associate

• Bachelor’s Degree,

• Background in sports, sports medicine or competition preferred,

• Knowledge and background in human anatomy,

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite,

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

• Comfortable in surgical environments,

• Desire to learn and command a high level of technical information, anatomy and

indications as it relates to surgery and procedures,

• Own transportation,

• Clear drug screen,

• Valid US driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record.
